Signed 1960's Stained Glass Look Ladybug Pedant Necklace

If you are into colorful and unique Mod  designs, this unforgettable ladybug pendant is for you. The Art Nouveau Revival plique-a-jour look of the '60's was accompanied by a stained glass look; in fact, during the '70s stained glass crafting became a fad along with macramé belts and hanging baskets. This beauty feels cool to the touch, so I can't tell whether the apricot colored medium is glass or clear Lucite separated by gold tone swirly-twily base. The eyes and and other accents are dark green enamel-- and look at the 6 wee legs pointing out! She's such a cutey at 2 1/2" tall including bail, hanging on her original 26" chain. I simply cannot make out the maker's mark on the back of one of her eyes. It is enlarged for you in the pictures. If anyone knows, please email. No matter who it is, this jewel is is a classic '60's relic in Excellent condition. $68

Great Green Glass Crystal Long Flapper Necklace

The kind you love to find, real vintage, with heavy green-gray cotton used for stringing and knotted between 8mm beads. Because of the spring ring clasp, you have a verisital beauty to be used many ways. The obvious use is as one long necklace, which will slim and elongate your look. When in the mood, double it, triple it, or use it has a choker or dog collar. Or loop part around your neck as a choker and let the rest hang down. The green is just what it is--color crayon green, a bit more saturated, but true green nevertheless. At 60 inches, you can get much longer without tripping over it! Very Good ++ condition. $58

Faux Pearl Flower & Leaf Overlay Pendant Choker Necklace

Appears to be a 1950's piece, this may be Japanese or German made; there is no signature, but I've seen pretty jewels like this before; they are hard to find these days. This necklace is rich looking but very light and easy to wear. The centerpiece is two baroque-like faux pearl teardrops arranged in a heart shape nestled in  lovely goldtone textured overlay of flowers and vines accented with aurora borealis rhinestones. This layer is fixed to a goldtone filigree decorated with faux pearl flowerets centered with more AB stones and hung with dangles. Two strands of pearls reach out toward ornate terminals and adjustable chain and J-hook. Necklace clasps at a maximum of 15 1/2". If you need extra length, let us know how much, and we can add a chain extension for you. Excellent condition. $88

Barclay Chunky Green Rhinestone Pendant Choker Necklace
First, we have a Book Piece Beauty. You can find it in Marcia Brown's Signed Vintage Costume Jewelry in the Barclay section.
Barclay manufactured jewelry during the late 1940's and early 1950s, and you can track some of the styles of those times by their creations. Here is one of their classic styles, a pendant necklace piled with prong set emerald green rhinestones in a rich gold tone twisted and beaded setting with gold tone snake chain. The clasp has an art moderne fillip and is signed Barclay in script. The centerpiece is 3" wide, and the double pendant is 2 3/4" long. Necklace clasps at 15". Very Good + condition. $82

Park Lane Striking Black & White Rhinestones Drop Necklace

B&W is still a timeless cool & striking fashion combo. You can wear this day-to-evening with just about anything. The black and white enamels are poured into golden wires cloisonné style--and so the rhinestones are set into the little gold wired cups. This is a case where you can spend your money, and have it at the same time. For although this necklace was made sometime after 1970, it is rarely seen and is a definitely desirable vintage costume necklace and will only rise in price. Clasping with a lobster hook at maximum of 16 1/2", you can clasp on a lower chain link for a choker or collar. The design also has a yin-yang effect. The circles are domed and articulated, linking with the gold tone ring in the center. The largest dome is  1 1/2"; the pendant drop measuring from the top of the smaller domes is 3". Very well made; detailed with texture on one side of each chain loop. Signed PARKLANE on a raised oval in back; no copyright mark. All rhinestones bright, all enamel spotless! Excellent condition.  $58

Kramer Chrome & Lapis Glass 1960's Articulated Pendant

Here's a scarce contribution from Kramer to the original swinging 60's, the age of the biggest medallions and enormous articulated pendants. This one seems to have a bit of Asian chic designed into the Pagoda look bars, but also modernistic, with the chrome colored metal and the flat square lapis blue glass cabs. Everything on the pendant is segmented with silvertone chain, the last blue cab dangling like a dancing delight, oh how this will sway as you move. And, of course, go between the breasts, which is always a guarantee that you will drive him wild! The pendant itself is 5 1/2" long and about 2 1/2" wide; the silvertone chain is has an adjustable J-hook, and clasps at a maximum of 23", but you can adjust it easily for size. Signed KRAMER on a raised oval three times on the pendant. This one is not likely to come up again; if you're a collector or lover of period jewelry like this, better buy it now! $88

This exquisitely designed pendant has a pin back so you can also use it as a brooch. Styled to suit your most exotic mood, with the look of painted porcelain along with the 1960's style for ethnic jewels. The scenic transfer on white glass shows a man and woman dressed in colorful kimonos, enjoying a Japanese garden surrounded by trees and flowers, with snowy mountains in the background. The glass oval is set within a goldtone geometric bamboo motif frame. This desirable jewel, signed ART(c), is 2" tall x 1 3/4" at the top and hangs from a 24" gold tone chain. Swoboda Huge Jade Pendant Necklace

This signed Swoboda necklace is such a fabulous example of 1960's & '70s big articulated pendants that it can only enhance your collection and the dramatic look that gets you noticed.  Large thin crescent moon and heart shaped slices of spinach jade bound in textured gold plated bezels will be unrivaled anywhere you take this. Held to the light it's quite semi translucent, and worn against a rust colored sweater or pink shirt you will be the most striking woman in the room. The high quality continues in the thick gold plated 16 1/2" snake chain. The remarkable pendant will be worn just at the collarbone and down into the décolletage, for an emphasis that will drive him crazy! The pendant, counting the textured bale, hangs a full 5 inches, and articulated heart dangles keep the movement lively. The widest part of the pendant, at the lower tier measures 3". Signed (c)Swoboda Inc. on a plate in back, this pendant is as pretty in back as it is in front, with the bezels holding the hearts ornately decorated. For elegance, versatility and beauty, this fine necklace will be a fantastic pick to accent sexy eyes and autumn fashions.  $165

HUGE Rhodium Plated Anchor Pendant Necklace with Big Rhinestones

Circa 1970, when the look of molten metal came briefly in style. At least this piece is shaped like something--a huge anchor, which is studded with a variety of shapes, colors and sizes of glued-in rhinestones. I believe this may be Jewel Creations piece, but I no longer have the catalog photo pages to prove it. The pendant, not counting the bale, is 3 7/8" long and 3 3/8" wide at the widest point, and hangs on a 24" silvertone chain with spring ring clasp. Excellent condition. $58

Brilliant Sarah Coventry Starburst Maltese Cross Pendant Necklace

Sarah Coventry could be counted on to contribute her share of Maltese cross styles that reigned throughout the swinging 1960's, and Starburst is a design that should be in the Maltese Cross Hall of Fame.

In this fabulous interpretation, amber-topaz and champagne rhinestones flash like fire from a golden "diamond dust" finish. These stones are are extremely clear and bright, twinkling like stars from their cups within the openwork base. This is a substantial, quality piece, with good heft. The pendant measures 2 1/2" in diameter and hangs from a 24" golden chain with spring ring. Signed in back (c)SARAH on a raised platform, this necklace is in Excellent condition. $58

Floral Rhinestone Sweetheart Sparkler Necklace

This 1950's creation  is much different than the usual prom queen offerings with it's centerpiece of 3 medallions set in silver colored metal. The medallions at either side offer "black diamond" rhinestones alternating with crystal aurora borealis rhinestones in flower cups with an AB rosette in the center. The concave structure adds variety and depth of sparkle. The central medallion is the opposite--dome shaped with one layer a round of stones similar to black diamonds, but with a very slight hint of dusky green. These alternate with smaller crystal ABs, but on top is a floweret of still more crystal ABs flashing pinks, pale coral, green and yellow lights. The arrangement is unique and very sparkly with high quality stones. Each medallion is 1" in diameter; the necklace clasps at a maximum of 16 1/4" princess length, but you can use the adjustable J hook and chain to wear it as a choker or collar. Excellent condition. $52

Darkly Sensual Ruby Glass Cube Beads Necklace
SOLD

It's hard to ascertain the age of this piece, but my guess is anytime from 1920's-30's Art Deco to 1950's Art Moderne era, when cube beads were somewhat "in." The molded ruby glass faceted cubes in graduated sizes are knotted together with heavy thread. The strand is continuous, with no clasp. This beauty adds to a sensual, striking look that is also perfect for holiday parties. And never forget--the fellas go crazy for the lady in red!  The necklace is 38"long with the largest bead being 18mm. Very good condition, with fleabites on some of the beads that can be seen under magnification.
