Reverse	Lot of three Christmas Tree Pins These unsigned beauties pack a good sparkle for the price. You get a 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" openwork gold tone Christmas tree with textured branches in bunches with little blue, green & red rhinestones set within. At first I thought the stones were set crooked in the little cups, but no--each cup itself is tilted this way or that, to simulate the look of real ornaments. A companion scatter pin tree is just a bit over an inch tall, plus there's gold tone stick pin complete with end piece. All pins are in Very Good to Excellent condition. Wear all at once, or two for you and the stick pin for hubby's tie. Or all three for the girls. $16.95
Reverse	Scarce Weiss Painted Enamel Egg Brooch In years of buying costume jewelry, I have seen only a few enameled eggs by Weiss, and only one of this type of design; it was pink and it was already sold. This is a rare pin, probably made in the late 1960's, just before Weiss closed its doors. Weiss made a some highly collectible enameled pieces during those years, some of which are now being counterfeited; real ones, except for some of the enameled flower power pins, are all fairly hard to find and as far as I know, the eggs have not been faked. This one does have a textured back; but the texture is different from the kind found on Weiss counterfeits. The basic color is red, crossed on the diagonal with gold tone lines, making diamond motifs in which white flowers with green foliage are enameled. This unique brooch measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/2 wide" and stands 3/4" high from the surface. There is a small amount of wear to the enamel that can be seen with a loupe but nothing substantial.
