Pieces will usually have the small problems that vintage costume jewelry often has, such as enamel loss, finish loss, missing stones, obviously replaced stones, darkened or cloudy stones, foil loss on stones, etc., and are priced accordingly.

Reverse Another View	Spectacular Kramer Sterling Clear Crystal Diamante Brooch Circa 1950. This chunk of a brooch is like Christmastime and 4th of July combined! The shield and arrow motif well made, the stones heavy and brilliant as any old Eisenberg. I was all ready to put $100 on it, but I took one last close look. Hmmm--what's glue doing on a prong-set brooch? Auuuuugh! Just below the top, one of the cups holding a stone has an outer prong missing. You need a loupe to see it! Someone glued in the stone so as not to lose it. Oh, well, someone who doesn't mind will be happy because it means this piece will go for a bargain price. This is a big brooch, about 3 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide. Other than the missing prong, this brooch looks Very Good with only a bits of foil missing from 2 or 3 of cushion octagons, which are set openback, that's how you can tell; there's no darkness in the stones. They are utterly brilliant. Signed on the back in a boat-shaped plaque, KRAMER STERLING. Enjoy for $38.

Reverse	Austria Floral Nosegay Brooch This sweet and intricately designed floral is bound to brighten up your day. Foiled plastic flowers in blue, green, pink and amber are riveted into gold tone flower cups with fancy headpins of prong set rhinestones in the center of each flower. These large flowers are accented by smaller enameled lilies. This sparkling beauty is consigned to shabby chic dues to a chip in one of the petals of the green plastic flower. Otherwise, very good. Enjoy for my cost. Stamped on pinstem "MADE AUSTRIA." $12

Reverse	*Emmons* Slick Black Cab Link Bracelet The look is sophisticated with this Emmons link bracelet. Black plastic cabochons in an Art Moderne chrome-look setting fastens at 7 1/8" long with a foldover clasp. Each link is 3/4" at the widest. This snappy daytime accessory is here in shabby chic due to the black cabs not being quite as shiny as I think they should be, but because they are black, it's really not noticeable and many sellers would rate this very good. Otherwise it's great; good clasp, shiny plating with little to no wear. Signed (c)Emmons in two places. $12

Reverse	Large Clear Rhinestone Spray Earrings These beautiful clip back earrings are so unusual, with sprays of long narrow 2mm x 14mm marquise cuts shooting from flowerheads of clear marquise cuts and aurora borealis chatons. All stones are prong set in a riveted setting. The stones on the flowerheads are fine and sparkling, but the long navettes have lost much of their sparkle due to foil loss. Dimensions are 2 tall x 1 1/8" wide. Delightfully shabby; wear them with your poorest little black crocheted lace shawl for a delightful Cinderella look. $5

Reverse	Dodds Blue Rhinestone Butterfly Demi Parure. Circa 1950s. This butterfly set has sparkling, pale blue rhinestones set in a delicate granulated openwork with smooth rhodium plating. Its shabby because a long time ago someone (could it be me?) tried to re-set one of the rhinestones using superglue, which should never have been used to replace stones on beautiful jewelry. She used too much and it slopped over, and made it worse trying to clean up the mess. Look on the left wing of the butterfly to witness the result of the criminal behavior. ; ) Still, wouldn't you love to take in a beautiful butterfly who got hurt? Dimensions of the butterfly are 2 x 2 3/8". The matching clip back earrings, which are Excellent, are 1 1/4". $12.

Reverse	Kramer Topaz Glass & AB Rhinestone Navette Clip Earrings SOLD Sigh. I was all ready to put these glitzy clip-ons in the Kramer section and took one last look--to find three of the small navettes on each earring has moderate to severe dark areas in the foil. At first glance they just look like darker topaz glass stones--at least the damage is uniform! Otherwise, all stones are prong set in gold tone, all light and medium topaz colored. The larger navettes have scalloped sides and and aurora borealis coating; the scallops occasionally flash green light. This is a perfect set for a redhead, or for someone who wants to enhance lovely eyes. The gold tone setting has a rich glow. Measurements are 1 5/8" tall x 1 1/8" wide.
