Americana Brooch & Clip Earring Set Here is an important set, not only for it's historical value, but also because it's one of the sets made by Delizza & Elster for Sarah Coventry. Americana is the ultimate Sarah Coventry book piece, featured in several Costume Jewelry books, including page 201 of Judith Miller's book, COSTUME JEWELRY. You can define styles of the times by looking at old Sarah catalogues. This Maltese cross brooch with red, white & blue glass cabs set in a gilded, embossed bead setting was manufactured in the 1970s, when Maltese cross jewelry was fashionable, and so was bicentennial patriotic jewelry. This highly collectible set is in excellent, sparkling clean condition. The brooch is a bit over 2 1/2" in diameter, the clip earrings a bit over 1". All pieces are signed. Purchase this set while you can, before it disappears from the market like so many Sarah styles. $48 |

Sarah Scarlet Tears Ruby Glass Pendant and Earrings Big red rhinestones are very desirable because they are warm, feminine, sexy and enhance any almost any complexion. This Sarah Coventry set fills the bill and is hard to find online as a complete set. The 2" pendant offers an enormous 1" teardrop faceted ruby glass, prong set in a textured and beaded golden openwork setting. Included is the original 24" chain with signed hang tag. Sarah Coventry Fashion Flower Huge Floral AB Set Very desirable for collectors, this large brooch and earrings were given only as hostess gifts starting in 1971. The goldtone filigree nests red aurora borealis rhinestones along the double layer of petals. In the center, a larger stone rests within a filigree 3-dimentional bud. The heart of the jewels, deep red aurora borealis rhinestones, glow with tiny fires. This brooch is nearly 4" long with matching 1 3/4" bulky 3-layered clip back earrings Excellent condition. $58 |

Sarah Coventry Galaxy Brooch &
Earrings Circa 1964, this medieval revival cross motif is one of the loveliest Sarah sets, never widely distributed because it was a "Hostess set," meant as a gift for those who agreed to have a jewelry party with a specific amount of sales. The beaded goldtone openwork cross setting holds beautiful multicolored cabochon teardrops. I cannot tell if these are glass or hard, heavy plastic. Whatever it is, gold foil is marbled within. The accompanying faux pearls and aurora borealis rhinestones make the brooch and matching clip backs a feminine treasure! A big set, the brooch measures 3" either way, and the earring are about 1 1/2". All pieces are marked (c)SARAHCOV. The brooch is in Excellent condition; the earrings are Very Good. $48

A book piece beauty, Mountain Flower is featured on page 131 of Fred Rezazadeh's book COSTUME JEWELRY: A Practical Handbook and Guide. Heavy, well-made floral in thick rhodium plating, paved with sparkling crystals. A center of light green aurora borealis rhinestone busily flashes golds and pinks! 2 3/8" tall x 1 3/4" wide. Appears to never have been worn--the stones & rhodium plating are without fault and absolutely incandescent. Hard to find in Excellent condition. |
