Sarah Coventry Ember Flower Set
The fabulous 1972 Ember Flower set! What makes this set one of the most desirable jewels ever made by Sarah Coventry is the delicately textured wide, generous rose petals each engraved with a brick like design that plays with the light inside the rose and the big fiery rhinestones, glowing coronet set within the petals making lights scintillate with every movement, every change. Leaves are enameled dark green for these flowers of autumn. The flower measures 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/8, clip on earrings are 1 1/8. although our lights caught the golden edges, there is absolutely no gold finish loss; the set is pristine. Enjoy this loving set in top condition. $48

Coventry Autumn Haze Chunky Pineapple Brooch & Earrings Set Here is a highly collectible 1966 pineapple brooch & earrings, all signed (c)SarahCov. The faceted amber glass stone is a HUGE one-stone wonder, a thick, heavy, unfoiled faceted topaz glass that looks good enough to eat. The brushed golden leaf crown is highly detailed. In addition to the pin stem, there is a hook bail on the back so you can wear it as a pendant if desired. The piece is featured in in several books, including Ann Pitman's INSIDE THE JEWELRY BOX, page 51. Dimensions are 1 7/8" x 1 3/8". Signed SARA COV. The matching clip earrings are 1 1/2" x 1 3/8". Sarah Coventry Purple Wisteria Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set Circa 1970. This beloved chandelier style pendant necklace spills a sparkling waterfall of oval faceted Lucite beads that are so fine and clear they look like glass. The branch holding the silvertone tendrils is engraved with an Art Nouveauesque design. The the pendant, including the bail, measures 4" Long x 2 1/8" Wide. The 25" chain closes with a spring ring clasp and has an extra jump ring so you can adjust the necklace to 21" if desired. The clip-on earrings are 2" long. Sabrina Fair Glowing Givre Glass Bracelet This desirable Sabrina Fair bracelet by Sarah Coventry offers multicolor givre glass navette cabs accented with crystal rhinestones in a sinewy Art Nouveau revival style finding. The type of stones, incidentally, are called sabrina. The prong set givre glass is in pastel colors of yellow, lavender, milky red and blue, making wonderful for springtime. Bracelet measures 5/8" wide and fastens with a foldover clasp at 7 1/4". Signed (c)SarahCov on clasp. Circa 1960, this sparkling whirl-a-flower full of sparkling AB Aurora Borealis round rhinestones flashing yellow, blue and green. The combination of colors in the stones give them a kind of light peacock look. Settings are in very pale goldtone; it looks like silvertone in some lights. The brooch is 2 1/4" in diameter and has a pendant hook in back so you can were it as a necklace on a favorite chain. Festival Brooch & Earrings SOLD Book Piece! You love being a treat for the eyes, and to enhance that look consider this delightful strawberries set. Notice how the berries look as if red lamplight glows from within, as if to reflect your own inner glow. Featured on cover of 1st edition COSTUME JEWELRY101, these jewels are one of Sarah Coventry's finest designs, created beginning 1967. True strawberry red, the molded glass berries have honeycomb faceting with little raised 'seeds' in each facet. The brooch is accented by ruby red rhinestones. Both the 2 1/3" brooch and the 7/8' clip on earrings are set in light gold tone. Brooch is excellent, earrings are Very Good++ with minor finish wear on the back of one earring.All pieces are signed (c)SARAHCOV. |
