Sarah Coventry Green Floral Touch of Elegance Demi

Here's a chance to add the desirable Touch of Elegance to your jewel collection. This set is one of those made by Delizza & Elster (Juliana) for Sarah Coventry. The graceful vintage brooch & clip earrings offer brilliant unfoiled peridot green faceted ovals dripping from pronged openback settings of gold tone. This has kind of a retro look and may have been a creation from the 1950's. Notice the lacy filigree caps set with more green rhinestones, as well as the big chaton on the stems. The brooch stands a willowy 3 3/8" tall, matching clip back earrings dangle 1 1/2", looking good enough to eat. All pieces are signed, (c)Sarah Cov. Vintage Sarah Coventry Americana Brooch & Clip Earring Set

Here is an important set, not only for it's historical value, but also because it's one of the sets made by Delizza & Elster for Sarah Coventry.
Americana is the ultimate Sarah Coventry book piece, featured in several Costume Jewelry books, including page 201 of Judith Miller's book, COSTUME JEWELRY. You can define styles of the times by looking at old Sarah catalogues. This Maltese cross brooch with red, white & blue glass cabs set in a gilded, embossed bead setting was manufactured in the 1970s, when Maltese cross jewelry was fashionable, and so was bicentennial patriotic jewelry. This highly collectible set is in excellent, sparkling clean condition. The brooch is a bit over 2 1/2" in diameter, the clip earrings a bit over 1". All pieces are signed. Purchase this set while you can, before it disappears from the market like so many Sarah styles. $48

This set is among the most beautiful ever made by Sarah Coventry. Here's the 2" x 2 1/8" brooch; the emerald green looks like what I would call teal in some lights. It is beautiful, unfoiled faceted glass set openback in the rhodium plated frame amidst pave crystals, glowing like rich evergreens in moonlit snow. The matching clip on earrings are 1 1/4", furnished with clean clip-on pads. These jewels are marvelous! Everything is in Very Good to Excellent condition. She'll think you spent a fortune! $88

Sarah Coventry Celebrity Brooch & Earrings Demi Parure

This ravishing demi parure is very desirable because this set was a hostess gift only for those who had big parties which sold a large amount of jewelry. The set was never for sale to the general public. These jewels are collector's pieces and will only rise in value. Darkly lustrous, substantial and heavy, these are some of the finest jewels made by Sarah Coventry in it's years of business. The huge, emerald cut smoky molded glass stones are prong-set in rhodium-plated openwork decorated with beading and light smoke crystal chatons.

The BIG, chunky dusky stones are a very dark taupe color in some lights; in other lights the appear to be transparent black. The signed brooch is 2 1/4," has a safety clasp pin finding and loop for pendant. This set comes with the smaller clip earrings; they are 1" and are padded for comfort. The earrings are Signed (c) SARAH COV and PAT. PEND. Everything is in Excellent condition. $65

You love being a treat for the eyes, for people to smile when they see you. To enhance that fresh, fun look, consider this delightful strawberries set. Notice how the berries look as if red lamplight glows from within, as if to reflect your own inner glow. Featured on cover of 1st edition COSTUME JEWELRY101, these jewels are one of Sarah Coventry's finest designs, created beginning 1967. True strawberry red, the molded glass berries have honeycomb faceting with little raised 'seeds' in each facet. The brooch is accented by ruby red rhinestones. Both the 2 1/3" brooch and the 7/8' clip on earrings are set in light gold tone. Brooch is excellent, earrings are Very Good++ with minor finish wear on the back of one earring. We don't get to offer this set very often; it is quite beautiful and I think it's one that is kept as special. Pink faux pearls and blue-gray glass moonstones perch high in twisted golden rope settings, whispering a romantic statement. The bracelet is 5/8" wide and clasps with a foldover signed (c)SARAHCOV at 7 1/8". The Clip on earrings, also signed, are 1" x 3/4". The set is in Very Good condition, with wear on the clasp so minor it almost isn't there! $45

This is the brooch and clip earrings set called Candyland, by Sarah Coventry. And what a happy set it is, with pastels of mint green, light spring green, cotton candy pink, light coral thermoset, similar to moonglow, cabochons gracing the gold tone leaf settings. What a confection! Does he have a sweet tooth? This set or parts of it can be seen in several books, including Jewelry from Sarah Coventry and Emmons by Kay Oshel, page 109. The brooch measures 2-1/2" long x 1-6/16" wide. Clip earrings measure 1-1/4" long x 1-1/8" wide. All pieces are signed (c)SARAH. Condition is Very Good+. $38

This glorious demi parure from Sarah Coventry was introduced in the late 1960s and called Kathleen. Some call the stones in the brooch and earrings emerald green, but I would call the color teal. The brooch features the large faceted teal glass stone surrounded by clear rhinestones in a sunburst style, slightly concave so the lights play off one another.. The earrings and ring have the same large emerald center stone in a silver-tone setting with clear rhinestones. The brooch measures 2 inches across; the clip on earrings are 1 inch and equipped with clean comfort pads. All pieces are signed and in Excellent condition. This is a small but colorfulSarah Coventry enamel butterfly pendant and chain from 1978! It has a gold tone setting with burgundy, yellow, light blue and green enamel. The pendant is called Fly Away. It measures approximately 1 ½ inches across and 1 ¼ inches tall. It is in excellent condition. The chain clasps at approximately 16".It can be worn choker style or necklace style. This chain and pendant would make a lovely gift for your vintage jewelry collection! Excellent condition. $28

The fabulous 1972 Ember Flower set! What makes this set one of the most desirable jewels ever made by Sarah Coventry is the delicately textured wide, generous rose petals each engraved with a brick like design that plays with the light inside the rose and the big fiery rhinestones, glowing coronet set within the petals making lights scintillate with every movement, every change. Leaves are enameled dark green for these flowers of autumn. The flower measures 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/8, clip on earrings are 1 1/8. although our lights caught the golden edges, there is absolutely no gold finish loss; the set is pristine. Enjoy this loving set in top condition. $48

1968 catalog. A book piece beauty, Mountain Flower is featured on page 131 of Fred Rezazadeh's book COSTUME JEWELRY: A Practical Handbook and Guide. Heavy, well-made floral in thick rhodium plating, paved with sparkling crystals. A center of light green aurora borealis rhinestone busily flashes golds and pinks! 2 3/8" tall x 1 3/4" wide. Clip-on earrings are 1" and come with clean foam comfort pads. Jewels appear to never have been worn--the stones & rhodium plating are without fault and absolutely incandescent. Set somewhat hard to find in Excellent condition. $48

Sarah Coventry Orbit Vintage Atomic Jewelry Set

Like new in original box. If you want to gauge jewelry trends over the years, always look to the creations at Sarah Coventry. This set is entitled "Orbit" and epitomizes costume jewelry of the Atomic age from the late 1950s and early 1960s. The jewelry is pretty too, with a mix of both textured and smooth gold tone with coral plastic insets. What a delight! Although the box is a bit battered, the jewels are still like new. Brooch is almost 2", the clip on earrings are 1 1/4". All pieces are signed. $38
