Dodds Topaz Rhinestone Maltese Cross Pendant. Circa 1960's, this ever popular Maltese cross pendant necklace is an unusual piece for Dodd's, a company who didn't put out many necklaces. In true medieval revival style, the antiqued gold tone textured setting offers up sparkling light and dark topaz rhinestones in beaded settings. The center cabochon rises from a crenellated setting that looks like an Elizabethan ruff. The pendant, signed (c)DODDS in back, is 2 1/4" in diameter with an additional 5/8" pendant ring and bale; the 24" chain has a spring ring clasp. Everything is in Excellent condition. $58. |

Dramatic Mexican Carved Gemstone Mask Pendant Necklace Here is a strikingly beautiful vintage polished and large carved genuine rhodonite native mask pendant necklace. Jewels like these were made in Mexico during the 1960s and are now sought after as genuine ethnic boho jewels. The gemstone is a swirl of colors ranging from pale pink to red, but the overall color is salmon, similar to Argentinean rhodonite. The beads are wired together rosary style. The J-hook closure is primitive but serviceable. Measurement of the beaded chain is 28", with the pendant dropping an additional 3". This unique beauty is in Very Good, clean condition. $68 |

Yellow 3-strand Big Bead Necklace Pretty in yellow? Try adding a bit of sunshine to your look and in the lives of whomever you meet. Three strands, this winsome 1950's jewel offers off-white faux pearls and big seamless hard plastic yellow beads in graduated sizes. The biggest beads are 3/4" in diameter. This necklace is longer than usual, adjusting up to 24". The extender chain is short, so you will be able to ajust the necklace tighter by only about 2". Probably Japanese, there's no signature on any of the bright gold tone findings. In the enlarged picture the findings look worn or darkened, but they are not, they are bright with no missing finish. Rated Very Good . On the rosary -style extender chains, chips in the nacre of some of the faux pearls are noticeable under 5x magnification. $28 |

Gala Pastel Mod Lucite Necklace Here is a genuine 1960s Mod necklace perfect for any springtime gala, from picnic to party to that baseball game. This 24" necklace is hand strung with 18mm bicone faceted Lucite faux crystals in a pastel of pink, blue, lavender and clear, with an occasional silvertone spacer. These multicolor beads are a translucent confection; the colors absolutely clear and brilliant. Wear it as a necklace, or in your hair as a headband. Springtime MONET
Cloisonné Pastel Necklace Cloisonné & other enameled jewelry was quite popular during a period in the 1970's, and Monet produced this beautiful piece to make for happy springtime wear. Although the necklace is not marked for gold, our tests show the floral design is outlined in 14 k gold plate and filled with pink, ivory and pale blue green swirly enamel. The 8 1/2" curved centerpiece is 1 1/2" wide and is held by pink silk cord leading to a gold plated chain and hook adjustable clasp. A real beauty, I tried to get the pastel colors just right, to no avail. The enamel that looks yellow is actually a much paler ivory color, the blue green is pale and the largest star has white in the middle rather than yellow! The pink & coral enamels are also pastels. The combination is quite pleasing. Necklace is in nearly pristine condition with no wear on the enamel or gold tone and with a clean pink cord. Signed in back (c)MONET. Enjoy the scarce beauty. $58 |

Florenza Glass Carnelian Pendant Necklace Florenza really knows how to do renaissance revival jewelry, and here is an exceptional example. The 3 dimensional pendant carnelian colored glass cab and a teardrop. Surrounding the prong set cabs are dogtooth cup-set faux pearls and fiery pink AB rhinestones. set in a fancy openwork filigree setting. The 24" original chain is textured, enhancing the opulent richness of this jewel. The pendant itself is 1 3/4" wide X 3 1/4" long, not including bale. Florenza jewels are all 24K gold plated. Sparkling Black & Brown Crystal Fringe Necklace Parure What a delightful find! Don't you love the look of fringe necklaces? They draw attention to the bust line so reliably that it's guaranteed *he* will notice. This one will add elegant sparkles to the picture with the unusual combination of black & clear warm-toned pale brown (or mink) crystals! Circa 1960, the necklace offers beautiful quality faceted glass tea-colored crystal beads, with smaller bicones and including black bicones for accent. The matching circular brooch is wired with an inner ring of brilliant very pale golden bicones finished with brass endpins, and encircled with brown and black crystals. The 7/8" clip back earrings complete the parure. Please note that although it's obvious the pieces are a matching set, only the earrings are signed. I've seen another set like this one as well, but the without the brooch. The necklace clasps with a spring ring at 22", the fringe dangle, held in a gold tone finding, is about 3 1/4" long. $110 |

Elaborate
Whiting & Davis Large Cross Pendant This gorgeous Etruscan-style cross is partially covered by a sterling vermeil openwork decoration. There is no wear at all to the gold finish. There are no sterling marks on the decoration, probably because we can't see underneath it, but it did test as sterling vermeil. In the center of this vermeil openwork fixture is a 15mm citrine or light topaz colored rhinestone. The base cross has a shining gold tone finish, which has some very minor fleaspotting/ wear on the back. The cross measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" with cross bars over 1/2" wide. The Singapore-style chain is 30" long with sturdy spring ring clasp. The 'Whiting Davis' signature is found on the oval hangtag. The necklace is in very good, clean condition. #N950 $65.00 |

Strand of Jumbo sized and Moonglow Beads! This Fun plastic bead necklace is reminiscent of the 50's sock hop days! The assortment bead colors and sizes include enormous (1 1/8" in diameter) pink swirly hard plastic beads alternating with marbleized taupe beads. Smaller beads are the loveliest shade of semi-translucent carnelian! How unusual with the light and medium pink Moonglow Lucite beads, accented by two slap-dash painted glass oblongs.
