Sarah Coventry Monte Carlo yellow rhinestone vintage necklace

Reverse

Sarah Coventry Monte Carlo Yellow Rhinestone Necklace

This elegant necklace from the 1960's is a testament to spring and summer by Sarah Coventry. The Monte Carlo line is one of the more scarce and desirable jewels by SC, due to the unique design and brilliant beauty. A chain of golden oblong links and gray crystal rhinestones lead to interlocking textured leaf or paisley shapes over more sparkling gray crystals. The centerpiece is a jumble of big yellow rhinestones along with more gray rhinestones. The necklace clasps with an adjustable J-hook up to a maximum of 17". Signed on tag (c)SarahCov. Very Good conditon. $32

Detail

Monet Unusual Long Beaded Necklace

The 3/4" wide Lucite thermoset beads in the necklace have six sides and are fashioned with Egyptian style step patterns. The colors, which were hard to scan, are dark red (not orange!)--somewhat darker than lipstick red--and jet black. Smaller goldtone and jet black beads accent. This looks like an Art Deco revival piece and has both the MONET hang tag and also a small lobster clasp with "Pat. Pend." and "Monet." The necklace is 34" long and is well made, heavy for it's size. I have had my own which I have worn for years--you might not think it, but the colors go with just about everything, and strike a jazzy spark to your outfit. Excellent condition. $38

Park Lane Huge Articulated Owl Pendant Necklace

Park Lane was a jewelry house that contributed many owl designs to the 1960's rage for wildlife in big pendants. Here for you today is a decadent 5 3/8" long pendant on a fabulous 24" original  gold tone chain with J hook so you can adjust for size. The owl  looks very much like one of the Goldette owls, but if you compare the two you see this one has a different kind of head. Complete with seven (7) goldtone and silvertone segments glowing golden amber eyes, the pendant is for the woman who will definitely be noticed. And those articulated wing pieces sway and shimmy in a very sexy way as you move! Signed "Park Lane" in script on the oval hang tag, this pendant is in Excellent condition.  $58

West Germany Fabulous Red 5-Strand Necklace

Today we offer this wonderful necklace--five strands of beads in various shades of red. The scans came up too bright, but I believe the scan that shows the beads in detail is truest to overall color. Among the vintage plastic beads are the pear shaped faceted semi transparent red Lucite, round & baroque faux pearls, and other beads from maroon, and red beads that appear to have little sparkles inside. This is a big necklace, clasping at 17 1/2", but it can be adjusted to choker length. There is not much wear on this necklace, beads are all sound and none peeled or worn; the golden clasps have bright  intact finish. Marked W GERMANY on J-hook. Excellent condition.  $45

Lisner: Sparkling Black & Brown Crystal Fringe Necklace Parure

What a delightful find! Don't you love the look of fringe necklaces? They draw attention to the bust line so reliably that it's guaranteed *he* will notice. This one will add elegant sparkles to the picture with the unusual combination of black & clear warm-toned pale brown (or mink) crystals! Circa 1960, the necklace offers beautiful quality faceted glass tea-colored crystal beads, with smaller bicones and including black bicones for accent.
