& Elster Juliana Big Honkin' Elephant Pendant
The pictures with this listing did not turn out well, but this silvertone elephant jewel is adorable and in excellent condition, with no wear on the finish at all. This major 3-D elephant has an uplifted trunk for the best of luck, pretty black eyes and twirly silvertone openwork ears and legs. She's textured, full figured, and roaring with happiness that she might find a new home. Dimensions are 3 1/2" tall, 3 1/8" from ear to ear, and her trunk sticks out about an inch from the surface. Not like the usual D&E jewels we have come to know, one of these plump and passionate pretties can be found in Ann Pitman's Juliana Jewelry Reference Guide on page 256. Japan Painted Turquoise Ceramic Pendant Necklace
Here's an unusual, long necklace, circa 1970, made in Japan. The floral designed 8-sided 2 1/2" pendant and square beads are transfers outlined in gold for the look of cloisonné on glazed ivory porcelain. Other large tube beads are also ceramic glazed turquoise . Other beads are dark blue-gray faux pearls and flat round white acrylic beads. The necklace clasps at 24" with a spring ring, the pendant providing an additional 2" drop. The color combinations would compliment practically an shade of complexion, hair and eyes. The necklace is in Excellent condition. When you see the reverse pictures, you will notice a set of matching earrings, which will be included but not counted in the price due to condition of the backs. This exceptionally pretty bauble from West Germany dresses up a pair of jeans for that casual party. Three strands of light gold tone S chain is alive with dangling pink transparent hollow plastic beads in alternating sizes that graduate to smaller beads at the ends. Equipped with an adjustable J-hook and chain, the necklace clasps at a maximum of 17" with about 3 1/2" of chain to make the necklace tighter if desired. Signed on the hook, W. The Monte Carlo line is one of the more scarce and desirable jewels by SC, due to the unique design and brilliant beauty. A chain of golden oblong links and crystal rhinestones lead to interlocking textured leaf or paisley shapes over more sparkling crystals. Scorpio Zodiac Scorpion Pendant Necklace
Designer Luca Razza created an entire line of these big astrology pendants in the 1960s & '70s in several styles. This one frames a pewter cameo of the scorpion in a gold tone modernist setting--very industrial boho! The 3 1/2" (without bale) pendant hangs from a 26" snake chain. Lavish Etruscan Style Wide Collar NecklaceYou don't need rhinestones to enhance a sophisticated look with this unsigned beauty. The gold tone Etruscan domed shield motifs are beaded in a way similar to the tiny granulation by which Etruscan goldsmiths made history. Goldette Double Happiness Oriental Medallion Fringed Pendant Necklace This beautifully made necklace by Goldette has become very desirable. Not only will you look beautiful it it--golden metal does so much for the complexion--but it's very representative of 1960s ethnic jewelry. The medallion is slightly domed, with tiers of and cast Asian characters alternating with coin motifs imprinted with Chinese writing. In the center is the Chinese character for Double Happiness! Wouldn't it be fun to find out what every character means? Here's a necklace that truly says something! The large medallion is more than 3" in diameter and offers dangles ending with coins and jade green glass beads. The entire pendant is 6 1/2" long.
