Antique Temperance Ax Hatchet Pin
This precious little late Victorian or early 20th century pin is beautifully designed, with lovely scrolling metal work on the brass handle. These pins were made as fundraisers for Carrie Nation in her fight against alcohol through the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. The beveled mother-of-pearl ax head is set with a single diamante paste in a pronged cup, screwed in to the metal. The 2" pin fastens with an open C-clasp. This jewel would make a lovely statement piece for days when you feel like chopping something! Excellent condition. $45

You may be a collector or have an idea to use this lot as party favors or stocking stuffers, because Gerry's jewels are always happy and fun to wear. Here you get 6 vintage pins, all signed Gerry's--a cute little enameled skunk, and angel, a frog, a wee spouting whale, a happy sun and crescent moon. The skunk, whale and froggy all have rhinestone eyes. Sizes range from 2 3/4" for the crescent moon to the 1" frog. All 6 pieces are in top giftable condition. $35

Purple & Blue Molded Glass Strawberry Brooch by Napier
This beautifully made, molded glass strawberry just glows heliotrope or iris colors, alternating purple & blues, depending on movement and light. Enchased in gold tone leaves both on top and hanging down from the back, I have to say this Napier forbidden fruit is nicer than anything I've seen from Austria. Made in the 1950's, this 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" beauty in signed with the older NAPIER(c) signature. It is in Excellent condition. $55

Frosted Glass Apples Demi Parure Circa 1970, these are jewels for an enchantress. Is that you? Sterling Vermeil Rhinestone Umbrella Brooch & Earrings
Circa 1940's, with the brooch featured on page 169 of Pictorial Guide to Costume Jewelry by Ariel Bloom. You will bring a smile to their faces even on the rainiest days when you wear this charming sterling silver brooch and dangle earrings. Finished in gold vermeil and studded with prong set aqua and clear rhinestones, this set is quite scarce; in fact, I've never seen another. Marked only Sterling on one side of the brooch and on the screw on mechanism of the earrings, the maker is a mystery, but its value is not; the brooch is quite heavy, though the earrings are light. Brooch is 4 1/4" tall; earrings dangle 1 7/8" from top to bottom. Very Good condition, with vermeil slightly worn but intact. Enjoy adding this worthy set to your collection. $85

HUGE Jewel Creations Rhodium Plated Anchor
Pendant Necklace with Big Rhinestones Unsigned, but verified as Jewel Creations. Circa 1970, when the look of molten metal came briefly in style. At least this piece is shaped like something--a huge anchor, which is studded with a variety of shapes, colors and sizes of glued-in rhinestones. The pendant, not counting the bale, is 3 7/8" long and 3 3/8" wide at the widest point, and hangs on a 24" silvertone chain with spring ring clasp. Excellent condition. $58

Brilliantly rhinestones are arranged so deliciously in this ravishing brooch, that you ought to wear only with silk evening dresses or velvet capes, but you can wear it with blue jeans if you care to. This layered brooch is high quality jewel offers lines of chaton rhinestones framing openwork baguettes, larger chatons and teardrops, prong set in rhodium plated metal. Caviness Golden Lady's Hand Guilloche Flower Pin
This is a very small jewel, intended to add just a touch of traditional, conservative loveliness to any look from lace peignoirs to blue jeans and shirt. Though it seems delicate, it is not, but rather sturdy and well made. The delightful slender golden hand holds a flower made from a small guilloche pink and green rose against a white background Two faux pearls flank for accent. The pin is only 1 3/8" tall and 1" wide, but is in top collectible condition, with no wear on the gold tone finish and the pearls and guilloche intact. Marked ALICE CAVINESS on oval in back. $48 |

Pewter & Rhinestone Wizard Brooch
Make way for Merlin~ This giant JJ wizard is a book piece, seen on page226 of COSTUME JEWELRY 303, by Julia C. Carol. The cast pewter is highly detailed, and pictures don't who how bright are the hot pink, blue and purple are the stones are on his hat, which is also centered with a larger Aurora Borealis AB cab.. And his glass crystal ball is bright and shining. From the mid-1980s, JJ produced a series of wizard brooches, and this is a favorite. Measuring 4" tall x 2 1/2" wide, he's sure to be noticed.
