Clip on earrings, 1950s Art Moderne style. Chunky rainbow ice like these will make him want to snuggle closer into your sweet dazzle! Just the thing for femininity without fol-de-rol, four platform settings holding two crystal prong set baguettes each are raised or recessed in such a way to get best play off the surrounding light and color. See the reverse image and note where the clips are situated--these jewels are meant to be worn on the diagonal. They measure 1" on the diagonal; as rectangles they measure 3/4" x 7/8". You can bet they match with a bracelet too--wouldn't that be fun to find? Set in gold plated metal, each clip is marked WEISS. Condition is Very Good with two dots of plating chipped from the back of one earring--hard to see since the metal beneath is also gold color. West Germany Dark Blue Rhinestone Earrings

I've been holding onto these hoping to find the matching necklace, but it's clearly time to get these beauties clipped to a pretty pair of ears! The oval center stones are as blue as the late evening sky, or midnight on the ocean. The large stones sit in fancy coronet settings while the three smaller stone are bezel set, all in gold tone filigree. These will look fabulous for day or evening. Marked W. Germany on the lower part of the clips, these ear jewels are in Excellent condition. $24

Screw On Earrings. Back in the 1950s, cluster earrings were well in vogue, and here's a unique pair for wear and to collect. The scans don't show every color to its best, but these jewels offer pale pink & yellow beads, faux pearls, and assorted coral glass beads all wired into a light goldtone filigree base. Wired onto the top of each jeweled "mountain" is a delicious clear tangerine 15mm (1/2") glass bead. Equipped with screw on findings, the earrings are in Very Good condition with some of the wiring reinforced with glue in back. Construction is strong and bead colors vibrant. $18

Clip ons. Lucky in Love? That's what these four leaf clover earrings proclaim, and, full of AB aurora borealis crystals rhinestone hearts, they say LUCK with zest and sparkle. Basic color is champagne, but it's hard to tell due to the blinking rainbow colors whenever these turn in the light. The 7/8" earrings are a bit longer at the stem, which also offers a little sparkling stone! Set in silvertone, minor wear in back. Very Good. Enjoy $18

Circa 1954 clip-on earrings. The design for these darling little Trifaris were patented in 1954. They look like beribboned bouquets or stylized flower baskets. The ribbons are enameled dark blue, accented by an invisibly set clear baguette on one side apiece. The ribbon curls are filled with light blue oval rhinestone buds, set in half prongs in gold tone Trifanium finish, and made extra sparkly with chatons. At the widest point, these jewels are 7/8". One earring has 2-3 tiny chips in the enamel at the ends and middle, but this can't be seen without at least a 5x loupe. Very Good+, with brilliant, sparkling stones. Signed on the clips is the mark TRIFARI with a crown over the T, plus Design Pat. Pend. Enjoy for $24

These earrings really seem alive, with their colors flashing like the peacock's feathers. The white areas on the scans are a case of severe scanner shock due to the blazing sparkles! But these coronet set chatons, like most other well-cared-for AB stones, offer changeable colors, depending on who is looking and which way--from light green to metallic gold to sapphire blue! Shaped like a curling comma, these 1 3/8" tall x 5/8" jewels have smooth golden settings and are in Excellent condition. Signed KRAMER on the clips. $28

I have no idea what kind of fish these are, but someone does. And you should wear these earrings when you go on that cruise with him. The unusual jewels dangle deliciously from white glass beads and are 1 5/8" long (not counting the earwires) x 1 3/8" wide. The ear wires add an extra 3/4" in length from the earlobe. We tested the plump bumpy fish for gold content and found a 10K gold wash. In back, on a big round plaque, is the mark MADE IN FRANCE. Excellent condition. $28
