Lemon Yellow Moonglow
Lucite Earrings Circa 1940s, screw back. For spring and summer, these delightful moonglow earrings will add a bit of butterfly color to your look all day long. The 15mm (1/2") beads are high quality semi transparent Lucite attached from the inside to sterling screw on findings. In the picture they look cloudier, but they have the color and look of pure lemon juice. The screw-on findings are marked STERLING. Enjoy. $20. |

Trifari Blue Rhinestone & Enamel Patent Pending Earrings
Circa 1954 clip-on earrings. The design for these darling little Trifaris were patented in 1954. They look like beribboned bouquets or stylized flower baskets. The ribbons are enameled dark blue, accented by an invisibly set clear baguette on one side apiece. The ribbon curls are filled with light blue oval rhinestone buds, set in half prongs in gold tone Trifanium finish, and made extra sparkly with chatons. At the widest point, these jewels are 7/8". One earring has 2-3 tiny chips in the enamel at the ends and middle, but this can't be seen without at least a 5x loupe. Very Good+, with brilliant, sparkling stones. Signed on the clips is the mark TRIFARI with a crown over the T, plus Design Pat. Pend. Enjoy for $24 |

Japan Pink & White Hand Painted Lucite Drop Earrings Clip on earring, circa 1960. These obliviously chunky transparent pink rectangles and dome pieces have white paint drizzled neatly in Mod designs, probably done by hand. The beads are light and feverishly active, bobbing and jiggling deliciously with movement. The pink Lucite is separated by goldtone links and white Lucite slender oblongs, dangling prettily 2 1/4" from top to bottom. The clip backs are signed Japan. Very Good + condition, these groovy jewels are yours for $20. |

Japan Gorgeous Blue Glass
Lampwork Drop Earrings Circa 1955-65, well-made clip-on earrings. This pair vintage imported earrings offer transparent and opaque glass beads in several shades, ranging from midnight to pale as clear ice blue. The dark evening blue top bead is attached to silvertone clips, followed by midnight blue lentil beads and rhinestone rondels. The lowest, largest beads are of imaginative trail lampwork, with rainbow like glints and stormy clouds inside, and on the outside, swirling trails of royal blue enamel. The set swings from the silvertone links, the lower beads and rondels are put together on fancy headpins with floral endpieces. Total length is 1 3/4". Rare and delightful, these wonderful jewels are marked JAPAN in back right below the clips, and are in Excellent, sparkling condition. $26

These earrings really seem alive, with their colors flashing like the peacock's feathers. The white areas on the scans are a case of severe scanner shock due to the blazing sparkles! But these coronet set chatons, like most other well-cared-for AB stones, offer changeable colors, depending on who is looking and which way--from light green to metallic gold to sapphire blue! French Fish Golden Dangle Pierced Earrings
I have no idea what kind of fish these are, but someone does. And you should wear these earrings when you go on that cruise with him. The unusual jewels dangle deliciously from white glass beads and are 1 5/8" long (not counting the earwires) x 1 3/8" wide. The ear wires add an extra 3/4" in length from the earlobe. We tested the plump bumpy fish for gold content and found a 10K gold wash. In back, on a big round plaque, is the mark MADE IN FRANCE. Excellent condition. $28

Barclay 1940's Ruby Rhinestone Retro Clip Earrings. HOLD There is much going on design-wise in this late1940s clip earrings set. Particularly endearing is the track design and splayed fan, motifs seen regularly in post WWII Retro jewelry . Fantasy flowers set with ruby red rhinestones are still brilliant and sparkling, as the rhinestone studded fan above. All but the center flower petals, are prong set in lovely aged goldtone. These delightful jewels are are 1 1/4" tall x 7/8" wide at the widest part, and signed Barclay in script on the clips. There is probably a matching necklace waiting out there--just for you!
