Austrian Red Rhinestone Jappaned Strawberry Fruit Pin

Huge, Exotic Avon Peacock Brooch in Box

With a 2004 date, this pin is not very vintage; however Avon has discontinued making it and it's time for you to have a treat! Avon really outdid themselves when they created this sweeping peacock! Rhinestones, rhinestones, rhinestones--this fabulous brooch appears to be *made of colorful stones of teal, rose, midnight blue, purple and dark blue and rose aurora borealis AB navettes and a dangling tail of chained crystals and beads. The setting is dark gunmetal, giving a midnight mystery aura to this imperial bird. Total length including the tail is 7", width at the branch is 2 1/2". This brooch has never been worn and is still in the original box. There is no image of the box because it's shiny metallic finish won't scan--it turns into a dark gray square! But the box is dark silvery blue with a silver "A" and very pretty. The brooch is signed on the back "Avon" with the Canada mark beneath. Both bird brooch and box are in Excellent condition. $32

Avon Pink Thermoset Shells Necklace & Heart Earrings

The earrings are for pierced ears. This is one of the nicest among the higher quality sets I've seen by Avon, with thermoset shells (or leaves) looking good enough to eat, like pink thin mints! The individual shells have threading holes in them and are strung together in an overlapping style, ending in a J-hook and chain. I doubt the Avon earrings are actual mates to the necklace. But the colors, design, & material are a compatible match, and I have seen these together on other occasions. But recently I saw a bracelet with heart shapes like the earrings. Any Avon Ladys out there who can help?

The thermoset is good molded Lucite thermoset very similar moonglow, and the shells make a rich, delicious sound when they click together. There are three leaf colors in subtly different shades of pink--very pale, medium and dusky pink. The earrings, though the scans show a weird color, are pink. The necklace clasps at a maximum of 19 3/4", and is 1 1/4" wide. The earrings are 1 1/8" tall x 1" wide. Everything here is in excellent, clean condition. $48

Avon Green Thermoset Drop Earrings

Maybe you already have the necklace that matches these darling clip earrings, but if you don't, wouldn't it be fun to find it? Simple drops have a white half bead on the gold tone clip finding and dangle a pleasingly plump green thermoset teardrop. Total length is 1 1/2". Signed (c)AVON on each clip. Excellent condition. $12

Barclay

Barclay Green Rhinestone Pin & Earrings Demi

Circa 1940s. These floral jewels may be small, but the high quality light emerald green rhinestones can flash & sparkle from across the room, inviting....In each piece the center stone is prong set in a brass petal-shaped cup surrounded by other brilliants, half-prong set on the outer side. The 1" pin is thick and heavy for its size, in a riveted gilded frame. The signature, Barclay in script, is beneath the pinstem. The 3/4" matching earrings are screw-back. The set is in Very Good condition. $35.00.

Barclay Diamante Drop Pendant Choker Necklace

Such classic elegance, such a warm yet dignified invitation to...look. And even in the most impossibly low-cut top, you will look like a nice girl in this circa 1940 jewel. High quality blue and clear pastes are prong set in thick gold tone openwork bow-and-flower links with central florets in pretty toothed cups. The pendant is a shield and fan motif, complete with track design. The necklace has a nice weight and clasps at a nice choker length of 15 1/2". Width of links are 5/8". The actual pendant is 1 3/4" long, with total centerpiece length drops 2 1/4". A lovely, hard-to-find piece in Very Good+ condition. $85.00

Berberi, Edgar~ A master of epoxy enamel jewelry, beginning for about 1980 to the late 1990's. Since then he has concentrated his artistic drive in other areas and has not created any more jewelry lines. In my opinion, Berberi jewelry is still inexpensive enough to be a great investment for those who love to spend their money and have it, too!

Berberi 1980's Colorful Epoxy Enamel Clown Earrings

Not only are these classic Berberi, but reflect the enamel styles of the 1980's to the zenith. Six colors on white in a cloisonné style golden setting, these jewels make for bright, joyful fun. For pierced ears, these dangle 2 1/8"--not counting the earwires. One earring still has the Berberi sticker, which is his earliest 'mark.' Excellent condition. $28

Bogoff~ 1946 to 1970. Made high quality jewelry, mainly rhinestone sets, but this designer also used pearls, beads, and metals. This is a scarce, highly sought after signature.

Bewitching Bogoff Blue & Clear Rhinestone Necklace Set

This delicate, gorgeously designed Bogoff jewelry is a princess length necklace packing plenty of icy brilliance, with rhinestones in all shapes and sizes shimmering like frozen fire, set in rhodium. The dangling centerpiece is a full 1 3/4" wide and drops 1 1/2". The necklace clasps with a foldover at 16". The 7/8" x 5/8" screw-on earrings are star-shaped, and their brilliance will put stars in eyes!
Perfect for any kind of evening wear, this set will not overwhelm a small woman, and is guaranteed to sparkle merrily. Excellent condition. $155

Bonetto This company made beautiful ladies' watches and watch pins during the 1980's. I cannot find anything else about them. Anyone with info on whether the company is still in existence, please email. Thanks!

1980's Ravishing Lady Bonetto Watch Pin
In Original Box
Absolutely the loveliest lady watch pin I've seen by Bonetto. Her bisque face is hand painted; one eye peeks sweetly from beneath her jaunty sparkly cloth hat, which is laced with rhinestone chain. Further decorated with a pearly heart, carved shell roses, faux pearls, long rhinestone navettes and a large rivoli, plus goldstone leaves and flowers, she strikes an elegant impression. The silvertone watch with diamond-like digits on the face seems like an afterthought, but it runs perfectly with a brand new battery. This irreplaceable jewel totals 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide. The watch by itself is 7/8" in diameter. The clear Lucite top of the original box has a few scratches, but otherwise the watch and the lady are still Like New on original card in box with the old warrantee card! $65

Hattie Carnegie Blue Crystal and Faux Pearl Earrings

A pair of 1950s Hattie Carnegie clip on earrings is just what you need to wear with your costume pearls or crystals. Set in gold tone findings, clusters of big baroque faux pearls with clear and pale AB blue glass crystals sparkle with light, elegance and taste. Dimensions are 1 1/8" tall x 1" wide. Signed on clips, Carnegie. Excellent condition. $28

Charel Charel is best known for Art Moderne moonglow Lucite thermoset jewelry of the 1950's. In my opinion, most jewelry marked Charel is is as well made as Lisner jewelry.

The crystal rhinestones are all bright, clear and brilliant though they look darker in these photos, which I had to adjust to get the true green color of the leaves.

Vintage Rhinestone & Green Glass Leaves by Charel

This very hard to find brooch is like a mysterious fairy plant from an enchanted garden. The silver tone stem and branches are laden with brilliant crystal chatons set in half prongs among frosted green molded glass leaves which are foiled in back. These leaves look as if they have tiny lights within. This jewel measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 5/8". This will be breathtaking with almost any of this season's bright & natural colors. Signed (c)CHAREL in back. The brooch is in Very Good condition, with clear glue residue on the back of some of the leaves. $55

Charel Brown Bourbon Art Moderne set

This stunning signed set is by Charel, one of the finest creators of 1950s Art Moderne style moonglow jewelry. The sleek, flashy necklace and bracelet offer light gold tone links that fold over the edges of round bourbon colored moonglow Lucite inserts. As you move, the color changes to a golden taffy and back to bourbon, depending on light in the environment. When you wear it, he'll want to take you by the hand and kiss your neck for sweet intoxication! Each link on both necklace & bracelet are 7/8" wide. The Necklace clasps with a J-hook at a maximum of 16 1/4," but the five-inch chain to allows tightening for choker or even collar sized. The matching bracelet clasps with a foldover at 7 3/8" to fit a good medium wrist with some leeway. Both pieces are signed (c)CHAREL in raised letters in back. Both necklace and bracelet are in Excellent, clean condition. $78

Reverse

Charel Art Moderne Butterscotch Lucite Bracelet.

Another sleek, flashy example of 1950's Charel jewelry. Five 7/8" x 1 1/8" links of twisted rhodium plated ribbon surround swirled Lucite inserts that look like butterscotch drops, or maybe honey caramels. Rest assured, he'll want to nibble on your wrist! Note that the settings look a bit gold because they pick up the color of the Lucite drops. So you may be able to mate this with some of your light goldtone jewelry. This bracelet clasps at only 6 1/4", so it is for a slender wrist. Signed Charel on the back. This sweet treasure has minor finish wear on some of the link connectors in back, so is rated as Very Good condition. $38.

Czechoslovakia

Detail

Czech Red Plastic Dangle Earrings.

Here's a delightful set of unsigned dangle earrings that have been attributed to Czechoslovakia circa 1930s. From the pierced and beaded brass screw-on findings, seven sassy multicolor oblong stick beads of vintage plastic dangle. The plastic beads are neither bakelite nor early celluloid, but possibly galalith or Celluloid Acetate (a later, less flammable celluloid.) The oblong beads, finished with brass beads and headpins, shimmy & shake merrily. They are 1 1/8" long and in Very Good condition. $32
