Accessocraft In business since the mid 1930's, Accessocraft survived throughout the '90s. Not a common signature; signed jewelry is still underpriced.

AJC  is the mark of American Jewelry and Chain company, which was in business from  1927 to 1997. Even their well-known 1990's figural pieces are very well made. Also, it appears many pieces were made in small quantities..

An ultra feminine spring & summer set from circa 1950 Austria. Flowers are enameled dark violet blue and pink, with the edges left without enamel so they show as rimmed with gold. Each flower is centered with prong set pink rhinestones, and there are rhinestones emerging from the double florets on the necklace and sprays atop the screw-on earrings.  Necklace clasps with an adjustable J-hook at a maximum of 16 1/2"; earrings are 1 1/8" tall. Very Good condition, with intact enamel &  bright rhinestones. Some of the brass is tarnished and gilding on the back peppered.  Necklace is marked AUSTRIA and earrings are marked MADE IN AUSTRIA. Circa 1940. For you today is this B. Blumenthal  floral brooch, both beautiful and rare. The brooch is setting is sturdy gilded pot metal, with the petals enameled metallic red, enclosing a 25mm unfoiled prong set diamante jewel. The design is just dear, reminding me of early cartoon art. There is no visible wear on the enamel, and the stone is brilliant. The brooch is 4" from top of petals to lowest part of stem. This irreplaceable jewel is  signed on an oval plaque on the reverse, B. Blumenthal & Co. Inc. Very Good+  condition, with minor wear to the gilding in back. $125

Festive Rhinestone Star Set by B. David

Some of the prettiest jewels come in small packages, and that is often true for the sparkling designs of B. David. This little set consists of a 7/8" star pin and 5/8" matching set of earrings. All these pieces are signed, B. David. All the rhinestones are prong set in rhodium plated fittings. The 5/8" clip on earrings have decorative etching on the back of the clips. A larger, 1 1/8" unsigned pin has been added; it is only 1 18/", but the amount of sparkle in the rainbow of rhinestones you get multiplies over and over! Everything is in Excellent condition. Barclay ~ Barclay jewels were manufactured for only a few years between 1946-1957. Because of this short window of time, the jewelry usually reflects post war retro designs. The jewelry is high quality and still under priced.

Barclay Springtime Pastels Rhinestone Ring

This big ring glistens with pastel blue, green and purple rhinestones in several cuts, all prong set in an ornate antiqued goldtone frame. This ring will match with other popular Barclay jewels, for instance; the bracelet below. Barclay made a whole line of jewels in these colors, and it's fun to collect them all. The oblong jeweled front of the ring is 1 1/8" tall. The ring is adjustable, and is adjusted to size 7 1/2 right now, but if you need a different size a jeweler will adjust this for a small fee. This cool jewel is signed Barclay in script on the inside. Very Good condition, with sparkling clear stones and only the most minor wear on the gilding at the top margin inside back. $55

Bogoff~ 1946 to 1970. Made high quality jewelry, mainly rhinestone sets, but this designer also used pearls, beads, and metals. This is a scarce, highly sought after signature.

Absolutely stunning! This sparkling Bogoff necklace and earring demi parure offers 3/4" flowers filled with aurora borealis crystal chatons that flash from goldtone beaded settings. Colors are mainly blue, pink and yellow, along with glints of the rest of the rainbow, depending on the light, and they are glorious, though very hard to capture in the scans. Both detail views are the most accurate. The necklace clasps with a J hook to a maximum of 19" but can be adjusted to choker size if desired. Matching clip on earrings are 1-1/4". The jewels are Excellent, pristine condition with vibrant stones and no finish wear. A beautiful Bogoff pastel rhinestone necklace set! $165

Bonetto This company made beautiful ladies' hinged bangle watches, rhinestone watches and watch pins during the 1970s and 1980s as well as collectible clocks. Some of their jewels are marked Bonetto, some Bonetto Digits, and some, probably later, simply Digits. Many of these, particularly the ladies, appear to have been put together by hand. Bonetto Digits today is producing watch rings, so these lovely collectible clocks and watches of the '70's and 1980's are long gone, unless you get lucky.

This extraordinary brooch/timepiece by Bonetto offers the classic bird of paradise or cockatiel design of the '30s to this circa 1980 beauty in shining gold tone, loaded with pave rhinestones and wings painted red, blue and green. He's got a red rhinestone eye and a 1" x 3/4" dangling watch with quartz movement. The watch has a mother of pearl face, tiny diamante rhinestones marking the hours and will arrive with a fresh new battery installed. This highly collectible jewel is signed Bonetto on the watch itself and (c)Bonetto on the back of the bird. The brooch is 4 1/8" tall from head to toe! Excellent condition, probably never used with watch running perfectly and all rhinestones shining and intact.

This guy is gorgeous with green and yellow-orange paint in stripes across his body and flowing into his textured tail fins, alongside bright pave crystal rhinestones. When you consult him for the time, he'll wink at you with his rhinestone eye. His golden comb like fin is decorated with crystal Aurora Borealis AB rectangle rhinestones flashing rainbow colors of blue, pink and green. Dimensions are
1 1/2" x 3 3/8"; the pin is in Excellent condition and the watch will arrive running with a fresh battery.

Vintage BSK BIG Amber Stone Clover Brooch

Beautiful offering from B.S.K., a one stone wonder, with a 1 1/2" amber unfoiled faceted glass stone prong set in a gold tone openwork clover. The golden metal has a brushed finish except around the curvy edges, where the metal is polished. Entire measurement is 2 1/2" x 2 1/4, rising about 3/4" from the pinstem. Wonderful! BSK, like Coro, made costume jewelry of varying quality, and this brooch is among their highest quality jewels. Signed (c)BSK on applied rectangle in back. Excellent condition. $35

SOLD Screw on earrings. These delightful orchid earrings have two layers, a base of brushed goldtone and a ruffly polished goldtone wire overlay. Prongs hold a bright purple rhinestones. Earrings are 1 1/8" x 7/8" and are in Very Good condition, with very little wear. Marked B.N. on screw ends.

Cathe A scarce signature; this design house produced quality jewelry in the 1960s. Still underpriced considering it's rarity and originality of design.

Cathe Art Glass Big Starfish Brooch Pendant

What a stylish starfish this is, perfect for summer at the beach or by the pool. Cathe is a hard to find signature, but those featuring fabulous art glass are the best! This one is crowded with glass cabs with streaks and clouds of mixed colors including, on each cab, bright icings of gold. The starfish "feet" point this way and that, invoking the fun and leisure of summer's days. Even the gold tone setting sparkles with texture, golden beads, and aurora borealis rhinestones. The 2 1/2" pendant comes on a 17 1/2" chain, but it also has a pin mechanism so you can remove the chain and wear as a brooch. Signed Cathe in an oblong plaque, there is a little sunshine symbol as part of the signature; perhaps this pendant/brooch is from a special summer line. Excellent condition. $48

Clip-ons. Dramatically claw-set art glass features deep swirling colors of pink, rose, and lavender along with a muted translucence coming from within. These precious delights are 1" tall, and in Very Good+ condition, with mild spotting of the finish in back, which can be seen only with a 5x loupe. The metal is goldtone that has aged to a warm glow. For spring and summer, designer Alice Caviness brought us these delightful earrings. The molded yellow flowers are like lemon ice, a two tone of clear lemon glass and slightly more opaque lemon pie tone. below nests a ball slightly more butterscotch, like little candies. He'll long to nibble your ear! The yellow glass baubles rest on gold tone filigree, atop lovely golden textured flowers and foliage. These clip-ons are 1 1/2" tall x 1" wide, big fifties jewels, and thick too, rising 2/3" from the lower clip finding. The earrings are in Excellent condition, as if never worn. For an added sexy look, wear with black accessories. Signed on the clips, ALICE CAVINESS. $34

This is a very small jewel, intended to add just a touch of traditional, conservative loveliness to any look from lace peignoirs to blue jeans and shirt. Though it seems delicate, it is not, but rather sturdy and well made. The delightful slender golden hand holds a flower made from a small guilloche pink and green rose against a white background Two faux pearls flank for accent. The pin is only 1 3/8" tall and 1" wide, but is in top collectible condition, with no wear on the gold tone finish and the pearls and guilloche intact. Marked ALICE CAVINESS on oval in back. $48

These clip on earrings match a beautiful necklace that we hope to find some day--or maybe you have it! Even without it, the earrings stand alone as an example of 1950's bright beaded styles. The blue beads are ceramic and decorated with dimpled gold & silver indentations; the faceted white beads are plastic all wired to a double goldtone filigree. The earrings are 1 1/4" in diameter and signed Alice Caviness, no copyright marks, on the clips. Excellent condition. $24

Delizza & Elster,  for Celebrity, made an entire set of molded & enameled  glass  called Moroccan matrix.  Here we have the drop earrings in red, white and black. These  little dangle earrings are clip-ons, 1 1/4" long, and will dance sassily while he longs for you to glance his way. Signed CELEBRITY on earring clips. Excellent, unworn condition. $22

Charel Charel is best known for Art Moderne Lucite thermoset jewelry of the 1950's. In my opinion, most jewelry marked Charel is is as well made as Lisner jewelry but much more scarce.

Cini ~ Boston Mass. firm founded by Guglielmo Cini in 1922. Cini was a maker of sterling and gold jewely. Cini jewelry reflects great metal craftsmanship.

Circa 1960s. From Cini's popular astrology series comes this sterling Taurus the Bull, representing birthdays falling between April 21 and May 21.  The metal work that makes Cini jewelry distinctive can be observed in this brooch, with the rippling scalloped skin of the body to the fantastical shape of a bull with curling tail and ornate stinger like appendage instead of hind legs. This is the larger version measuring 2" x 2; and weighing 17 grams.. Marked STERLING (c)Cini, the brooch has not been polished and is in Excellent condition.  $65

This lovely vintage necklace could have been produced by Craft anytime between the 1960s and 1980s. The remarkable 2" x 2" gold tone butterfly pendant has pave wings with black stone accents, a center bezel set with another diamante crystal; the body is a faux pearl drop. The herringbone chain is is 15 1/2" by measure, but the butterfly dips in somewhat, drawing attention to your décolletage and creating more room; so this probably fits like a 16" necklace. Signed CRAFT(c) on the reverse, this necklace is in Very Good condition, with three tiny black stones having glue residue you need a loupe or strong reading glasses to notice. The crystal rhinestone are sparkly and clean, the faux pearl is undamaged, and the gold tone finish is unmarred. A beautiful Craft butterfly necklace! $55

Czechoslovakia

This durable pin looks Edwardian and was made in Czechoslovakia circa 1920. The stone is a 15mm unfoiled faceted glass oval, and it clasps with an open C-clasp.   The glass is clear, clean peridot green; it is quite beautiful. Signed in back, but you can only see the letters HO SLOVAKIA. The pin measures about 1 1/8" wide and is in Excellent condition. $55
