Dodds, 11 W. 30 Street & Jewel Creations. Dodds, signed with the "S" backward. There is evidence that 11 W. 30 Street is another signature for Dodds. The company offered many beautiful revival style jewels as well as figural & holiday jewelry, and is highly collectible. Jewel Creations jewelry is made by the same company. Jewel Creations jewels are all unsigned, but many pieces are the same jewels seen signed Dodds and 11 W. 30 Street. Another way you can identify them is through catalogs they used to publish. Dodd's Rhinestone Modernist Brooch For something colorful but also different, this Dodds' modernist style brooch may be what you are looking for. The primitive leaf shape is done in a light golden metal that looks hammered. An openwork network of rhinestones blink from their hand set cupped settings-- a fuchsia square, pink teardrop and chatons as well as olivine and amethyst rhinestones. A lovely 2 1/4" x 2 1/8" pin signed DODDS(c) with the backward S, in Excellent condition. $28

HUGE Jewel Creations Rhodium Plated Anchor
Pendant Necklace with Big Rhinestones Unsigned, but verified as Jewel Creations. Circa 1970, when the look of molten metal came briefly in style. At least this piece is shaped like something--a huge anchor, which is studded with a variety of shapes, colors and sizes of glued-in rhinestones. The pendant, not counting the bale, is 3 7/8" long and 3 3/8" wide at the widest point, and hangs on a 24" silvertone chain with spring ring clasp. Excellent condition. $58

Emmons Middle-East Style Medallion Brooch Circa 1970s ethnic revival. this rich looking beauty is from a line of Emmons jewels called "Aztec Queen." This brooch, which can also be used as a pendant, is substantial and well made, appearing to be constructed of several layers sandwiched together. Slightly convex, it features coral and jade-green hard plastic cabochons and topaz rhinestones, set in granulated antiqued gold tone against a textured antiqued silvertone setting. The red and white Scotties drum on painted green and red drums and wear painted ribbons 'round their necks. German Jazzy Blue & Green Art Glass Beads Necklace
Here's a vintage German necklace to invoke a happy, carefree look for spring and summer. Beads are a mix of glass and plastic; the biggest beads are heavy art glass with backgrounds of in sky blue or spring green splashed with red, yellow, orange, white and midnight blue shades. These 1" art glass beads are accented by turquoise plastic cubes and smaller turquoise and spring green barrel beads and rounds. The necklace clasps with a 3/4" round light gold tone push-in clasp topped with a turquoise cabochon, fastening at a generous 23" . The back of the clasp is marked WEST GERMANY. Goldette Crystal Etruscan Style Fringe Necklace This Goldette goodie evokes an aura of sunshine and all seeing eyes in ancient days of mystery and romance. A lovely stacked half circle full of flowerets and encasing a topaz rhinestone within a beaded setting is only the beginning. A row of dancing delights jingles below, swinging golden baubles offering collet set crystals of the most amazing color--against white the crystal looks rosy golden-tan, but while dancing in the light the same crystals sometimes look lavender. The 3" pendant has 9" of chain attached on either side to fasten with a spring ring clasp. This is a well known Goldette piece that comes marked on the golden tag hanging from one of the dangles. Big '60s Gold Crown Inc. Pewter Peacock Pendant NecklaceWe have for you today this handsome pendant necklace straight out of the swinging '60s, or possibly early '70s. This pierced, openwork pewter or pewter tone beauty is decorated with champlevé enamel in turquoise, cream, red and black. The pendant itself is 3 3/8" wide x 2 1/2" tall and hangs 1/4" x 2 1/2". this strutting peacock is adorned with lots of turquoise enamel with yellow, orange and black accents. The jewel fastens with a J-hook and adjustable chain at a maximum of 24", but you can wear it tighter if desired. Marked Gold Crown Inc on the reverse, this necklace is in Excellent condition.
