Coro Peach Confetti Lucite Clip On Earrings

Clip on earrings. Just love these--they look like a tutti-fruit jello desert from the 1950s! He'll want to nibble at your ear, and it won't stop there! The Lucite foiled and bedeckled cabs sit snugly in very light gold tone leaf findings, a nice display for autumn. Plus, there's a matching necklace and bracelet out there too, so the earrings are always nice to collect, especially when you find them in near-pristine condition, like these. The first thing I think of with Wishbone pins is a Happy Thanksgiving, but they can serve as a wish for luck as well, or as a pretty, quaint collectible. This quality piece has a decent heft for it's size, 2 3/8" of polished gold tone with the look of antique gold. The rose is a complex array of golden petal centered with a prong set crystal, with two pink crystals to gather the stems below textured leaves. Three oval rhinestone buds spring forth from the posy. Their color is that dark aqua that you see sometimes in vintage pins; it's probably a color no longer made. This lucky piece is signed Coro at a slant on a rectangle plaque and has the little Pegasus horse above the "C" which marks one of it's better quality lines. Excellent condition.   $42

Beautiful and simple, delicate looking and yet strong and durable. Your mood today, or your alter ego? The setting of openwork goldtone wires and filigree looks like real gold and has taken on the rich glow of old gold. The filigree petals are sturdy, not easily bent, and the entire brooch is so well constructed, you could probably use it as a weapon if necessary!  Off white faux pearls nestle in sturdy cups within the winding tendrils of this 2 7/8" tall x 1 3/4" wide brooch. Condition is Near-Excellent. Although the shadows on the scans make it look like the tips of the petals are dark, they are not; they shine brightly.Very minor wear to the gold tone can be seen only under magnification. Coro Beautifully Designed Floral Rhinestone Brooch with the Look of Diamonds!

Circa 1950. Those who love diamonds will love diamante (crystal clear rhinestones), not only for the clean, flirtatious sparkle but also for the price. This wonderful little brooch by Coro offers brilliant crystal rhinestones set with circles of dog-tooth faux prongs in a gunmetal gray setting of  wildly arrayed leaves and twisting branch. This is a quality brooch, quite heavy for it's size. The brooch is about 2" tall, but seems larger due to layered construction rising about 1/2" from pinstem. Corocraft Fanfare Pastel Rhinestones Demi Parure

Very hard to find, you can see this delightful demi from the Corocraft Fanfare line in the 1955 ad, The Perfect Touch for Springtime, which features the brooch and earrings. The same ad is also featured on page 41 Marcia Brown's book, Coro Jewelry: The Collectors Guide. Today we offer you the necklace and the brooch, done in layered light smooth goldtone, with each piece full of flowers in yellow, light topaz, two shades of blue and pink amid arrays of crystal baguette ribbon curls. The necklace had a blue rhinestone adjustable chain. The curvy, slightly chunky brooch is 2 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" at the widest, and because of the layered rises close to 1/2" from the pinstem. The necklace centerpiece is 3" wide and 1 1/4" deep, taking a little dip in the center to emphasize the curve of the bustline and décolletage. The necklace clasps at a maximum of 16", and will tighten for choker size if desired. The set is in Excellent condition, with sparkling rhinestones and no wear to the finish. Each piece is marked on the back, Corocraft in script, and Pat.Pend. $128

Coro Sea Mist Confetti Lucite & Rhinestone Necklace Set

The goldtone Art Moderne setting offers delicious looking yellow shield shaped moonglow Lucite inserts. They are the color of lemon pie filling, and will make him want to nibble at your neck. Circa 1943. Here's a classic Retro Modern sterling vermeil brooch by Coro. It is a wide, scrolling bow done in thick sterling, heavy for its size, featuring one BIG square unfoiled emerald green glass stone. During the shortages of WWII, American costume jewelers ran out of European stones, and often the result was what I like to call the "one stone wonder." Jewelry houses began to ship unfoiled stones from Brazil, many of them quite large. This one is 3/4" in diameter and about 3/8" thick, prong set in an open backed cup. The brooch is marked STERLING CRAFT by Coro. The gold vermeil coating is intact; the brooch is in Excellent condition. $78

Double rows of boat shaped motifs are textured gold tone on the inside and chrome color on the outside. Each is centered with and Aurora Borealis Peacock chatons set in little half-prong cups. Through the center of the rows are perched larger chatons. Versatile as well as elegant, this day to evening piece will result in compliments, so get ready! Signed Coro with the Pegasus symbol and (c) mark, this was probably made between 1955 and 1965. Excellent condition; enjoy for $48.

Coro made an entire line of white enameled creature jewelry; I've seen a number of them including a seal and some sort of fish, and others. If you like the way white stands out on colored T-shirts and jackets it might be fun to look for the entire line; they appear to have been done in the mid to late 1950's. On this turtle the white paint lies between the gold tone ridges for an elegant yet fun effect. The eye is also gold tone but looks white in the picture. The adorable pin is 2 1/4" wide and signed in back (c)Coro in script. Very Good condition, with no chips in the enamel but mild wear that can be seen only under magnification. $24

Think of yourself wearing is this cool, scintillating double strand glass bead necklace with anything from that little blue dress to champagne wedding lace! Two strands of winter white glass beads, frosted glass and subtly coated Aurora Borealis crystals adorn this piece by Vendome. And look at that clasp--1 1/4" long x 7/8" wide, rising in a slightly domed shape and piled high with more AB crystals and white glass beads now prong set. This confection is sprinkled with a constellation of starry clear rhinestones winking furiously. Sigh. The necklace clasps with a push in V finding at 14 5/8".
