Colorful 1960's Enamel Flower Power Pin Here is your essential flower power pin--a must have collectible '60's jewel to welcome the coming of summer. The stamped tin brooch is made in two parts riveted together with the pin claps. The flowerhead is enameled a very lovely medium coral, the leaf stem bright spring green. Limoges
Hand Painted on Transfer Porcelain Venus and Cupid Brooch. These kinds of pins are late 1940s French imports of porcelain creations helped them rebuild after WWII. I just couldn't resist this colorful delight! Can you? The scene shows Venus holding an arrow away from a naughty Cupid. They are under a blue sky with cloudy wisps. It's hard to tell with this how much is transfer, but there is definite hand painting on the grass and flowers. The setting and open trombone clasp are European, the kind I've seen on other Limoges pins. The golden rope-twist frame supports the brass bezel which secures the porcelain very snugly. Brooch measures 2 1/4" in tall x 13/4" wide and is signed in back in green ink Limoges France. Condition of the porcelain is Excellent with no paint loss or fading. The brass setting is very good, with a bit of light tarnish spots that only add to the vintage value. $78

Dazzling Hollycraft 1952 Pierced Brooch with Crystal Rhinestones This scarce and wonderful brooch was made in the short post war period where costume jewelry styles transitioned from Retro Moderne to Art Moderne. Pierced metals, as in this brooch, were stylish in this period, and this Hollycraft double bow pin with trailing ribbon is studded with crystal navettes in tall faux prongs is a prime and rare example. The brooch is slightly concave, which results in the brilliant rhinestone dancing light off each other! This beauty is 2" from top to bottom. Rare design~Art Deco Sash Pin with Topaz Glass You love music and dancing, and you like quality and high style in your clothing and jewelry while you're having fun. This sash pin was made for you, though you weren't born yet! This circa 1925 brooch offers graceful movement in the openwork design in gilded base metal, with elements of both Victorian and Art Deco design. Retro Sterling Vermeil Large Brooch, RARE Ermine Stone Offered for your consideration, this lovely antique gold vermeil brooch offers rare Swarovski unfoiled stone called ermine--actually a clear lovely teal. This is a color recently re-released by Swarovski company, but it was first introduced in the 40's, and then discontinued for many years. The large, rectangular stone is prong set open back beneath a floral caps. This enchantingly designed brooch is basically oval crowded with ribbon curls, twisting leaves, and a spray of diamante rhinestones on one side. There is some visible wear to the vermeil finish. Van Dell Sterling Vermeil Bouquet Brooch
This lovely, long & slender sterling vermeil pin conveys a smart, quality look with it's perky leaves and curling tendrils coated in yellow and rose gold washes. The rose gold flowers set with medium pink rhinestones ads a darking splash of color. Its hard to see in the reverse image, but the oval signature plaque is marked VAN DELL 1/20 12K GF on STERLING.
