This is a book piece, the lavender version featured in Marcia Brown's Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry, page 11. Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant in Sterling Setting SOLD She will adore this lovely carved shell cameo from the 1930's. The lady is an unusual golden tan color against a pale carnelian colored background. She's nicely carved, her hair put up in a detailed wavy style with a curl at the nape of her neck. Notice her earring carved into the shell and the flowers at her shoulder. She is mounted in a sterling frame marked 925, which is equipped with not only an early safety clasp so she can be worn as a brooch, but also with a pendant loop ready for a chain. 1 3/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide. Condition is Excellent! |

Vintage Snake and Heart Leaf Pin with Carnelian She's just the right gal for this unique pin, and you're the man to give it to her. Or maybe you're the gal who to love this textured golden snake with the gift of a genuine carnelian nugget, making his way mystical way across a living leaf--or your heart! One side of the leaf is smooth and the other side matte gold tone; there is actually a good amount of silver content in the metal--our tests revealed 700 silver. Lisner Forest Green
Thermoset Leaves Pin & Earrings Set Lisner made these in so many beautiful colors and color combinations, the double leaf pieces could be a collecting field all themselves! They also go nicely with the single leaf Lisner jewels, as you can see in this green pin, there is a single leaf among the double leaves. The dark green Lucite thermoset inserts are so cool and lovely you just want to sink into their depths! The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4", and the matching clip back earrings are 1 1/8". Circa 1980's. The black & gold coloring makes this enameled pin a classic for the 1980s era. These kinds of antique brooches, so reflective of art nouveau known and loved over 100 years ago, can only rise in value. Two Antique Ruby Glass
Victorian Collar Pins Wonderful late Victorian unfoiled red faceted glass collar pins--One under the collar for a demure look with hint of inner fire, or wear both to fasten that designer scarf for an ultra snazzy look. Both are in secure brass bezels with serrated edges. The oval pin measure 1 inch wide and has an extending pinstem. The octagon cut pin is 7/8". Victorian Edwardian
Era Collar Pin with Purple Jewel Simple but delicious, this 1" x 1/2" turn-of-the-century amethyst glass collar pin would look as lovely on this season's frilly blouses as the collars of yesteryear. This is a good, thick piece; the stone rises above the 1/4" setting. Wear it just over or in lieu of the top button of your blouse, or right under the collar. You can pin this rich-looking beauty to a hat, or onto a velvet ribbon to tie around your neck or your wrist. Antique Enameled
Little Lamb Brooch
This sweet pin is either Bambi or another fawn in rhodium plated pot metal, beautifully enameled with a pale yellow. He has stamped (see reverse) raised spots in pink, an applied green garland around his neck, and green hooves. How darling he is, as well as fairly high quality. I believe the back is rhodium plated--the poor little deer came to me very dirty, but without tarnish. I gave him a bath, but not a polish. Circa date is probably 1930-1940. The pin predates the Bambi movie and the Disney pins, but the movie was based on a popular illustrated children's book by Viennese author Felix Salton, first published in 1929. The pin is equipped with an old C-clasp and measures 2 1/4" x 1 5/8". Rated Very Good for minor loss of enamel in spots. Enjoy for $58.00 |

Vintage Book Piece Coro Ruby Red Rhinestone Brooch Unusual design, circa 1950s. The brooch in a blue rhinestone version is presented on page 66 of Fred Rezazadeh's 1998 book, Costume Jewelry: A Practical Handbook and Value Guide. This graceful double branch brooch will be sure to bring a bright, subtle sparkle to your evening wear. The jewel is high in quality, with deep ruby-red rhinestones that sparkle from a rhodium plated setting. The Coro signature, in script, can be found onon the V-shaped pin finding. Dimensions are 2 1/2" x 2 1/8". This brooch is in very good, clean condition.

Delightful Clear & Blue Lucite Cameo Habille This unusual jewel is a rather saucy tribute to the cameo. The feminine cream colored molded resin cameo sits on a midnight blue Lucite platform which is attached to a another thicker, clear faceted Lucite base, which throws shades of blue here and there. Even better, this one is a habille, which means that the cameo lady is also wearing a jewel, a shining rhinestone like a brooch to drape her silky gown. Dimensions of this jewel is 1 3/8" x 1 6/8". HUGE Rhinestone Elephant Brooch, Articulated Here is a wonderful 1980's Huge Rhinestone Brooch! This flashy elephant has a hinged, articulated trunk & ears, to shimmy and shake as you walk along, drawing all the attention. Although an unsigned beauty, it's heavy and well made, an obvious designer piece. On the back it is marked with the numbers 1 and 2. Classic Yellow & Orange Enameled Flower Power Pin Be a flower girl in this lovely banana-yellow daisy with orange center. High quality riveted construction with v-shaped pinback. So many of these delightful 60's daisies are found with chipped enamel and even rust, since many were made from tin. But this one is in Excellent, clean condition; any minor wear in the finish along the edges must be seen under 10x magnification. Uniquely Mod Maltese Cross Op Art Good sized at 2 5/8 " x 2 5/8". The square faceted Lucite cabs blink in the light, vying with the brilliant rhinestones prong set in matte gold set hither and thither their lights blinking like the flash from cameras. The type of Lucite cabs was also popular in 1960s colored Lucite beaded jewelry. Uniquely sassy is the way the rhinestones are set in little asymmetrical squares, which also made it difficult to get a straight image from the scanner. Excellent condition.
