W. Germany Aluminum (Eloxal) Fan Motif Necklace Set
You can often expect West Germany costume jewelry to be among the most unusual and innovative. Here's a very cool, light weight aluminum set, although the trade name is Eloxal, which is an aluminum alloy used in Western German to make costume jewelry. The crenellated fan shaped links are textured and set with very brilliant pink & yellow AB aurora borealis rhinestone chatons. The matching earrings are clip back. The adjustable length necklace clasps at a maximum of 17" with a J hook and chain. Each fan shaped link, as well as the matching clip back earrings are 1 1/2" x nearly 7/8". The necklace is not signed, but the earrings are signed WGermany on the clips. Condition is Very Good to Excellent. $24

Gerry's Faux Jade Brooch During the 1960s a Victorian Revival took place, with many designers creating jewelry reminiscent of 19th century pieces. Gerry's was one such designer, with a whole line of resin cameos, porcelain transfer pins, and this pin--a piece of resin "jade" molded into a lovely floral & foliage design, in an Asian designed golden bamboo frame. Signed Gerry's(c) in back, the brooch measures 2" tall x 1 1/2". Very Good condition. $16

Napier Chunky Necklace with Huge White Beads Here's a great summertime necklace with white plastic beads in graduated sizes including huge barrel-shaped beads in the center. Those big beads are about 3/4" wide and just as thick around as they are wide. The necklace clasps at 18 1/2". Signed Napier on the clasp. Very Good condition. $24 |
