Jewelry Signed ART

Offering high quality jewelry with an emphasis on medieval and renaissance style, ART was has been in business since the late 1940's. But the heyday of this company came during the 1960's when they produced for us dozens of interpretations of ethnic asian figural jewelry, Egyptian revival large metal pectorals, maltese crosses, and an entire line of jewelry with delightful small enameled flowers. Most collectible besides the Christmas tree pins are the maltese crosses and the enameled daisy jewels; but the hardest to find pieces are decadent rhinestone sets that are very similar to Florenza jewelry. The prices of jewelry signed ART will only continue to rise.

Double Christmas Candle Tree Pin Signed ART

This is one of the nicest designs in ART Christmas tree pins; as a favorite it is now somewhat hard to find. Two openwork tree motifs are applied one over the other, so the stones on the base tree shine out behind the top branches, as if on a real tree. The delicate beaded filigree adds to the holiday richness along with the multicolor rhinestone bulbs, clear baguette candles and crystal star at the top. This sparkling jewel stand 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/2" at the base. All stones are present and bright.  It is in Excellent condition and signed in back inside the pot at the base ART(c) $68

Tawny Autumn Floral Demi Signed ART.

If you are a knitter or crotchetier, you may recall the color of yarn called "tawny." It was a combination of colors that appear in this fantastic hand enameled floral demi by ART.  As a redhead, I loved the tawny colors year around, but these can't be worn by any complexion, but the colors will definitely enhance certain hair and eye colors and spark up lackluster outfits. Imagine these enameled jewels against olive green, white, khaki, taupes or even purplish beiges. You can do delightful things with this happy set with green leaves, golden brown flowers with orange center and bright yellow streaks and dark brown stems. The jewelry is enameled front and back! The brooch is nearly 4" tall; the clip back earrings are 1". All pieces are signed ART(c) under the paint. Very Good to Excellent. $48

Vintage Rhinestone Bracelet in Autumn Colors Signed ART.

The gorgeous array of stones is what sets this flashy bracelet apart from the ordinary. In a gold tone fitting featuring textured leaves and polished swirls, dark topaz and pale citrine teardrop rhinestones are set openback in half prongs alongside brilliant tawny topaz AB aurora borealis chatons and oval topaz and yellow cabochons. This bracelet will strike sparks so be prepared for compliments. The bracelet is a plump 1" wide and clasps at a tiny bit less than 7" for a small to medium wrist. Notice that the clasp is an unusual  bronze color, similar to the color of the topaz stones. At first I thought it might be a replacement, but it fits perfectly and is just the kind of thing ART would do. This lovely jewel is in Very Good condition, with only one dark topaz stone having a tiny spot of missing foil. This is noticed only when you examine the back.  Signature, ART(c) is on the back of the one of the links.  $62
